Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) affects about 30% of those diagnosed with major depressive disorder. It’s a condition where traditional treatments—such as multiple antidepressants and adjunctive therapies, including second generation antipsychotic medications—may not bring relief.
If other treatments have not worked, therapies like SPRAVATO®, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), ketamine, or electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) may offer the breakthrough you’re seeking.
At Origin Mental Wellness, we understand how frustrating it can be to search for answers without results. That’s why we offer SPRAVATO® as a promising treatment option for those struggling with TRD.

What to Expect
The Process
Our process begins with an intake assessment to ensure SPRAVATO® is the best option for you. After the assessment, we schedule an orientation to discuss the treatment in more detail and answer any questions. You’ll then have the freedom to self-schedule your appointments, following the structured schedule to optimize your results. Each session lasts approximately two hours, during which a healthcare provider closely monitors your progress.
Administering SPRAVATO®
During each session, you’ll administer the SPRAVATO® nasal spray yourself, guided by a healthcare provider who oversees dosage and timing. Arrive on time and remain consistent with your scheduled appointments for the best outcomes. Throughout your treatment, our team monitors your vitals to ensure your safety and to observe your response to the medication. You will need to arrange transportation to and from the clinic, as you won’t be able to drive after each session due to potential side effects.
